Wii MiniNintendo announced that it will release the Wii Mini in Europe on March 22, 2013. This stripped red and black edition of the console was previously only available in select regions.

The differently designed apparatus will focus mostly on games for a lower price, as it takes away internet connectivity. A pack comes equipped with the console, a Wii Remote Plus and a Nunchuk. However, the Wii Mini also doesn’t have Gamecube backwards compatibility, just Wii games.

Nintendo launched two new titles to its budget range to spice up the bargain factor. Mario Party 8 and Wii Sports Resort will be available for a discount price.

Amazon currently has the Wii Mini priced at €109.99. Is that enough for you to discover some classic Wii games or will you save up for a Wii U? Let us know.
