Wargaming has released the latest version of World of Tanks. This 8.0 update of the free-to-play MMO is the largest since April 2011. It is currently live in North America and will arrive in Europe tomorrow.

There are several novelties in the title. First off, the in-game physics have been completely reworked to create more realistic tank behaviors and should encourage new tactics. This remodeling is also applied to the user interface and mini-map, which will receive additional options. More advanced rendering will ensure more realistic environments and enable camouflage tactics.

An additional game mode will allow players to choose which they’d prefer before going to war on each other. They’ll also be able to distribute free XP to their crew. Finally, the USSR skill tree gets 4 additions, such as the Matilda Black Prince.
