Football fans rejoice! This is the unrivaled realism title you’ve been waiting for your entire lives! Independent developer Grip Games has announced Foosball 2012, the first and by default most realistic foosball game for Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita to come out in spring 2012.

The developer has immediately released some sparkling screenshots to feature its most glorious visual features, such as foosballs and tables. And if that isn’t enough to give you an idea of the gigantic scope, there’s even a trailer that goes beyond that. All jokes aside, it does look like the developers have an authentic view on the offbeat sport of table soccer.

The game will feature many different table styles, according to the preferred regional taste and will enhance gameplay with added visual effects. More so, the game’s realistic feel and precise analog controlled movement will also be available for Playstation Move for that extra genuine twitch gameplay. Lastly, players with both console and handheld will be able to interchange their games and Foosball 2012 will also be able to be played over the 2 platforms.
